Hello,

welcome in my small offer. Every month new enthusiasts are starting breed phasmids.
Join us and start breed these brilliant creatues!

I've been sending phasmids' ova from many years. Properly protected from mechanical shocks they always arrived safely to new breeder.
I don't sell insects before the first moult (size L1), as some breeders do. Insects soon after hatching are very sensitive and delicate. At this stage is also the highest mortality among larvae. However, after the first moult (size L2), insects become much more strong and the risk of their loss significantly decreases.

price for living insects (L2-L3 size):
    15 phasmids -  50.00 (EUR)
    30 phasmids -  80.00 (EUR)
    50 phasmids - 120.00 (EUR)

short note: Brilliant creature, quite easy to breed - sexually in my culture. Almost invisible amidst bramble leaves. Eggs have extremely irregular shape.

I try to choose females and males, but at this stage sex recognition is difficult. So I do not guarantee a certain number of individuals of a given sex. However, there is a great chance that there will be both females and males.

    Breeding information:

This species is recommended for beginner Phylliums' lovers. This specimen grows very quickly. Males have the ability to actively fly, so you should be careful to not let them fly away during cleaning your terrarium. Phyllium jacobsoni reproduce sexually and/or parthenogenetically. When there are no males in the culture, the larvae hatch from unfertilized eggs. This specimen, due to its small size, can be kept even in a small terrarium (about 20cm high). Prefers room temperature, i.e. around 20-25 degrees C. Blackberry, oak or raspberry leaves are good food.
